<BODY> and </BODY>
...and all HTML documents follow the same basic format
<title>Type title of page here</title>
Insert body of the page here
HTML: The tag that opens and closes your document
HEAD: Head tags surround the title and the introductory text of your web page.
TITLE: This should describe the content of the page. It should be descriptive, but less
than 64 characters. Bookmarks pick up on your page title.
BODY: The main part of your page goes between the <body> and </body> tags.
Closing tags: You must remember your closing tags. They are always preceeded by a slash (/). In some browsers, the document will
still function without some of them. With others, it will not.
Note: Rebecca, I would suggest you jump right ahead and copy the basic format on a notepad.
Save it as an .htm or as an .html file; Open it up and see what comes. When you are ready for the next,
I'd like you to go the annabelle's website where you will learn all the other tags that will make your
web page appear the way you want it, which is the essence of HTML
